Meet Dr. Kate Owen
Dr. Kate Owen is a Clinical Psychologist, Family Therapist, and Hypnotherapist with over 25 years of experience in mental health. She runs a successful private practice supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families, with a focus on integrative systemic psychotherapy and neuroscience-informed approaches.
Kate is widely respected for her national workshops on Systemic Psychotherapy, Trauma, Anxiety, and Wellbeing, and provides clinical supervision and mentorship across the health and education sectors. She is a board-approved clinical supervisor and former Co-Director of The Queensland Institute of Family Therapy, where she helped establish accredited systemic training programs.
Alongside her clinical work, Kate has held academic roles at Griffith University, Bond University, and The University of Queensland, and has presented at numerous national conferences. Her published work and keynote presentations reflect her deep commitment to holistic, relational, and accessible care.
